Caribbean VacationSince I'm a British woman living in the United Sates, I consider myself to be quite well traveled for my age. I've emigrated twice. I've also been to quite a few countries on vacation including France, Spain, Greece, and Bulgaria. I haven't yet enjoyed a Caribbean vacation, though. It is on my ‘to do' list. Earlier this year my husband and I considered going to Cancun. A Caribbean vacation to Cancun isn't as expensive as one might think, provided you book it for the right time of year. I think February is a good month for a Caribbean vacation, since you can escape the cold winter for a while. It's not the cheapest time to go, but neither is it the most expensive. Additionally, there is no risk of hurricanes. An online site called Liberty Travel is currently offering an all-inclusive week in February 2008 at the Westin Resort and Spa in Cancun for around $1,200 per person. The flight to and from Cancun is included in the cost. I think this is a reasonable price to pay for a Caribbean vacation.
