cheap caribbean travel

Years ago, my husband and I took a cheap caribbean travel cruise.  It was the first cruise for both of us.  I was so excited, and I thought he was as well.  Wrong.  He only wanted to lay in the sun during the day, and play the casino at night.  He Loved sitting on the top deck, smoking, and looking over the ocean.  I found myself alone much of the time, and not doing half of what I had planned to do.  The place was beautiful, the water was fantastic, and the snorkeling was fun; but, it wasn't fun alone.

I supposed I should have known better than to go on a trip such as this since he really had no interest, and he had fought in Vietnam for years.  Traveling on a boat was  opening the door to past fears and threats.  Whereby I, like a silly school girl was excited and thrilled beyond belief.  Oh well, we live and learn.  Next year, I believe I will go on a caribbearn cruise with my children.  They are excited at the aspect, and I know I will have a blast this time!.
