Being interested in a Caribbean vacation because I have never been there, I dug a little bit deeper. Expedia will give travelers 100 dollars off their flight and hotel package price. The cheap airfare and hotel discounts are very enticing for anyone looking to travel by October 31. In order to score on this deal, travelers must book by August 15, 2009. I read some of the fine print and found out the correct promo code has to be typed in to take the 100 dollars off the final price.

Running a hypothetical Caribbean vacation, I found the price for one person to Puerto Rico for 4 days to be around 450 dollars depending on where you are departing from. Not bad when considering that price includes flight and hotel stay. I would call the hotels directly to see if they have any other promotions as well. Hotels worldwide are struggling right now so many are more then happy to grease up the deal.
